Last day of school!

Today was the last day of school. 
awesome because we have 1 entire week of no going to school, and no chinese lessons. but it means we are expected to stay at home and study our till our brains explode. :K
Yesterday we spent 20min (missing maths!!) taking this picture to commemorate a wonderful day in history or something like that. Well we had to kind of squish together. And the air was being mean and humid so I couldn’t breathe, or I may have been happier. xD
Oh yeah, teacher’s day! I nearly forgot. I went to school dressed as the white queen. Borrowed a white dress from Su Yen because that was what I wore for the filming and all of us (except hasini, but we should have forced her to wear the colourful dress on her head!) were wearing our costumes from that day. (: Lots of people said I looked “angelic”. Like real. -.- But nevermind, its um… a nice thought. XD Brought teacher’s day presents for the teachers. I brought brownies to eat too but they MELTED okay. :X So I couldn’t give any to anyone.
Teacher’s Day presentations!! First, we had a pinata thing where the teachers had to whack a pinata (that someone in our class made ;D ). But they were being weak and gentle so they just cheated in the end by ripping out the paper at the bottom. :X Then we had two raps composed by the talented people in our class. (: Haha the chinese rap was so cool it actually RHYMED. I didn’t know you could rap in chinese! Well I did but I guess I’ve never thought about it before. Then the one about maths was super funny too. I cant remember the details but I know when I was reading it I was thinking that it was hilarious. Then the last thing was the video that we made! Haha I think Claire did a lot, she was the director-scriptwriter-camerawoman-editor. And Claudia helped with the filming. (:
Then… CIP! Me, Adeline, Andrea, Elizabeth and Hasini were in the first shift. So at first I don’t know where Andrea and Elizabeth were, me and hasini and andrea stole some tables and chairs from the canteen. Then they came down and helped set up. TREES HATE ME, I tell you! The bamboo kept poking me. then as i was trying to break it off it wouldn’t come off and it kept waving in people’s faces so I just had to fold it. FOLD. A. STEM. !! Then… Hasini kept insisting (and she still does up to this moment) that I was supposed to hug the tree to keep it from falling over. But the tree is PRICKLY. It doesn’t look spiky or anything but it must have some tiny needle-things. So it kept poking me, and I did watch it some of the times where we had less business (though su yen and vanessa came down halfway through the shift so we had more people). But then… SOME *** IDIOT knocked it over and the vase broke!!! I was so irritated.. If I had seen who it was… :K And hasini think its my fault because I didn’t hold the tree. Well, I think it WAS partially my fault, but no one else bothered to do it either, right? :X
But we made quite a lot of money in the end, I think. For the WWF! (: Best part: MISSED CHINESE and half of SS! We tried to miss all of it, but su yen said there were too many people there and made us go back up. Just in time to present something to the class. -.- Then when we went down for recess yesterday and today… there were SO many more people. -.- And Su Yen just stayed there the entire time. I think I was quite irritated about that last year..? But nevermind.
(I’m jumping topics a lot, I think). Then right after the vase broke, everyone was trying to pick up glass pieces/get a mop/mop it up/save the bamboo. I think selling stuff is actually quite fun. OMGSH some primary kids couldn’t read and kept asking us for the price when it was clearly written on a piece of paper. Or, they would point to the “20″ on the paper and say “HEY IT’S TWENTY CENTS I CAN BUY IT!!” “uh, no, actually its twenty dollars”. Haha the P1-P2 kids kept getting scared whenever they heard anything above one dollar.
I’ll post more tomorrow, it’s 10.30pm and I should sleep. :O

Hello again. (: Lots of stuff has happened!
We’ve gotten back all our results now. I’m okay with my results, in general. I love my english marks (: But I could definitely have done better in physics and lit. I got a A2 for the physics paper (made such stuuuupid mistakes! Like not knowing that we were looking at the clock through a mirror, instead of just turning our heads and looking at it properly.) But luckily my class tests and participation marks pulled it up to an A1 for the overall. :O Yay! And no chinese marks because I wasn’t even good enough to get an F9. Oh, joy!
Literature. Ah, literature. I hate prose. ): I had no idea what the passage was talking about. “Good points in (b) but misreading is present in (a).” But Claire got 22 (wow!!) so it can’t be that hard. D: we did well for the newspaper (9/10 for presentation of paper, OH YEAH!!!) and the Drama Through the Ages presentation (the complicated one that had everyone ran around forgetting props), so I got an A1 in the end, just. (: I prefer poems!! I hope they test us on poems for the EOYs. :X

-sob- I can’t tell you what it really is, I can only tell you what it feels like.
Hmm.. Apparently Ms Ng accidentally gave all of us 7 marks for the overall marks. :X So everyone’s scores got decreased by 7… D: I was saddened. For everyone.
Wednesday. Went to Esplanade to watch the Four Seasons concert. Haha I don’t think they were that great but maybe that’s just because I’ve been listening to really nice (and difficult!) music for the past few days. o_0 Well, what was even more fun was training ensemble bonding. (: I was going to go with Tzi Ling but she had Committee Dinner-Meeting. :X So in the end… Only 4 of us went ughh. But it was fun! (:
We didn’t get into the next round of NEmation omgsh I really hate that competition now! I think we’re the only group that didn’t get it. :C But Mrs Lim was very nice and said it was okay and it didn’t mean that ours was bad, just that the judges didn’t like it. She was trying to be nice and I was trying to believe her. (:
Today, we went to Claire’s house to film the thing for teacher’s day. Su Yen lent me a white dress because I don’t have one. All my dresses (haha that just makes it sound -deceptively- like I have a lot) are either grey or black. At first, I found the white dress that I wore as a flower girl. I tried to stuff myself into it and succeeded, but it made me look fat and I couldn’t breathe (Yes, that bad). Then I changed out of it, and realised that it was for “Aged 8″ people. Which means I probably wore it when I was 10 (always been short!), which is in P4, which was when I had to act as a flower-girl. :O
Well, Claire’s house is… really nice. It’s not exactly like 4 storeys high, but its big in terms of… length and width and garden-space. I understand how it could possibly pass off as a Wonderland.. It has a kind of vintage feel, very cosy. (: It’s not as clean as “spotless clean”, so it feels like someone actually lives there. Ugh I don’t know how to describe it. It feels like a good home! (: Haha okay I’ve finished ranting about that.
Did all the different scenes… Claire’s really good with the camera and lighting and stuff like that. xD I was the white queen! I shall dress like that on Tuesday. Or was it Wednesday? Or was it Thursday? I need to find out… And find out when I’m supposed to bake the cookies too. Yeah so she was really tired after all the filming. :X I kept forgetting my lines. It’s when I stare at someone, I can’t really remember anything. xD Oh well.

I should probably also start studying for the EOYs. :X It seems so far, yet so near. It’s one month away, one whole month, yet only a month.

There’s still something wrong with my blog! I can’t even see it myself. Oh well. That’s kind of good. A little. XD
Well I probably shouldn’t be posting at this time but I feel the need to type. o.O
Projects. I absolutely hate it when teachers think they can give us a project and it ISN’T CLEAR what we’re supposed to do. Really. Let me give you an example. Biology. She obviously made the worksheet herself, because in one part it said “types of flowers” and in another, “type of flowers”. So which one is it? Apparently it’s supposed to be the one with an S, and so we have to redo the project. Not exactly redo, but we need to think of 2 more flowers, make major changes to the results and discussion and powerpoint, etc. Grrr. We’ve put in a lot of effort, and honestly, I hope No, I EXPECT to actually get a decent mark. -.- Maths. Same problem, we misinterpreted the question. It’s due in 2 days and we haven’t started (nearly)!! :O
Well on the up side, we’ll get it done, we always do in the end. We’re going to discuss it tomorrow and hopefully we can get some stuff done. And.. luckily, no such problem occurred for geography and WE’VE FINISHED THE BIO PROJECT!! 3 cheers. ;D
Finished R+J!! Some parts are really interesting but some parts are just plain weird. Like when Juliet was talking to a dagger (well, it was only one line but I feel the need to point it out). And then Paris gets stabbed and all he can say is “Oh, I am slain!”. Haha but he DOES say more. ^^ Oh oh and there was this time a person talked about herself in third person. I read something about it in the notes, but still. Ashley still finds this quite weird.
Tomorrow’s going to be a heavy day. Got to carry a lot of stuff to school. ): I am reminded once again how much I hate Mondays, just because they are MONDAYS. /sigh/ well i’m going to sleep now.
